- Additions:
- The Shrine
The Shrine is an object which now exists on your canvas from the beginning. Other than helping you orient yourself on your planet, its real purpose becomes visible once you create humans.
Humans will occasionally go the shrine to pray. And whenever they do that, you gain some power, represented by a new star appearing in the sky. - Lakes
Lakes will appear on your planet, once it has rained enough on your planet. When your planet has lakes it will continue to automatically create clouds. This sets the basis for a self sustaining eco system. - Windmill
The windmill is a new building occasionally built by humans. Not only does it look super pretty on your planet, but it also continously generates wheat in its surroundings, providing a constant source of nutrition. - Human Life and Death
Humans now hava multiplication pattern. Once a human has built a house he will occasionally go inside and wait for another human to join them. When that happens both humans will be happy and a thrid human will now inhabit your world.
In order to prevent over-population to the planet however two additional measures were implemented:- Humans have a limited lifespan and will die when it is over
- Every human may only have 3 children
- The Shrine
- Bugfixes:
- Bears will now actually eat humans, and not just walk to them and then do nothing
- Gameplay:
- Feeding timers for all living creatures have been reduced (NOTE: This change is rather experimental and might be changed back)
- Humans will no longer plant bushes or trees
- Clouds now only last 60-90 seconds (before: 60 to 120 seconds)
- Technical Stuff:
- Optimized Buttons fading in and out of Screen
- Added 2 optional Quality settings to allow lower perfomance machines to run the game properly in its later stages
- Saving and loading the game has been reworked and preparations have been made which will allow for multiple planets to be saved
