A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

In Dungeons for Dummies you get to explore dungeons from a long forgotten aera of video games where death lurked around every corner and behind every wrongly entered command. But fear not, for there is a guide which will help you through these puzzling and vague scenarios.

You will have to manoeuvre through several rooms to reach and claim the treasure. To do so you must analyse the room you are currently in and use the guide to enter the correct commands.

The game and the guide were both written during a game jam, so whoever finds a spelling error gets to keep it and cherish it forever as their own.

The guide comes in the zip, but you can also find it here.

"Here is my seven page thesis on how to play my game. If you don't like manuals, take a hike but not into my dungeon"

Have fun!

I almost didn't find my way to the comment section of the itch.io page.

Game is a"maze"ing once you read through the manual and start to decipher where to go. I'd "sign" up for this again.

Gonna cut a corner with the review and say 7/10, would get lost again.
