Along the Shore the cold Waves break
A downloadable game for Windows
Dear Mister Williams,
I hope this letter finds you well. I have been friends with your father Markus Williams for many years, and I too was distraught to hear, that his ship had disappeared.
I was allthemore surprised when a member of the crew of the HMS Explorer showed up in London a few weeks ago, crazy out of his mind and unresponsive.
However, over the last few years I have developed a machine which could help us unlock the secrets of what happened to that ship. If you are interested contact me at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Albert Canmarrow

This game was made during the HonestJam V. Due to circumstances it was not completely finished in the jam time, but the PostJam Version now has all the images to complement the story. I also made the mouse lock during the game, which makes it much more pleasant to play.

I love it when a game does much with very little. This is one of those games. I was expecting some jumpscare, but then I felt the maze getting harder to navigate through and it hit me. At several points felt like I was lost, and only a sheer navigational instinct and a will to survive helped me get together and not succumb to desperation. Nice trick with those shuttering doorways! And also kudos for atmospheric sound design and visual effects (especially in eldritch rooms).
